Did you know that we collect weekly water samples from public beaches on Lake Windermere throughout the swim season? Through a partnership with the Interior Health Authority, the samples are sent to a lab where E-coli bacteria levels are measured in the water. The sharing of these results is supported by Swim Guide.org, a program created by Waterkeeper.
