Lake Windermere Regatta participants and volunteers all had a good time at this year’s Lake Windermere Regatta. New activities this year included stand-up paddleboard demos and race, an invasive-species hide-and-seek game by the Take Action Team, and a drawing for “I love my lake” t-shirts at the Ambassadors’ Water Learning Tent. Sixty two people registered to participate in one of the Regatta activities. The beach-volleyball competition was once again the most popular event. Victoria Gordon, who volunteered during the Regatta, said “I really enjoyed being involved and watching the fun! It was exciting. It was good to see everyone outside and participating.”
